Zachary Scott Matthews

Zachary Scott Matthews, 15, of Mascoutah, IL, born March 9, 2005 in Tampa, FL died Saturday, November 14, 2020 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, St. Louis, MO

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Mascoutah, IL.  Zachary was cherished, loved, and cared for by his mother and father. Adored by his sister's. Missed so very much. Until we meet again our sweet Zachary, in the Kingdom of Our Lord.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Alan August, and paternal grandfather, Alvah Matthews.

Surviving are his parents, Alan S. Matthews and Joanna August-Matthews; four sisters, Jennalee, Lauren, Eliza, and Emily Matthews; maternal grandmother, Sandra (John) Biddle; paternal grandmother, Madelon Matthews; also survived by aunts and uncles.

Funeral: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Kirk Clayton officiating.
