Wendy A. Schmitt

Wendy A. Schmitt, nee Booten, 67, of Mascoutah, IL, born July 18, 1954 in East St. Louis, IL died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at Memorial Hospital, Shiloh, IL.

Wendy retired as a decision writer for the Social Security Administration in August 2018.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred E. and Grace A., nee Frawley, Booten, and a brother-in-law, Craig Keller.

Surviving are her children, Heather (Jeffrey) Humes of Woodlawn, IL, Jared (Kimberly) Schmitt of Canyon Lake, TX; five grandchildren, Hailey and Payton Groennert, Emsley Christ, Paislee and Teagan Schmitt; two sisters, Cheryl (Irwin) Reeb of Belleville, IL, Susan Keller of Belleville, IL; two nieces, Sara Reeb, Shannon (Dan) Pistor; two nephews, Chad Keller and Adam (Alyssa) Reeb
