Wendy Sue Krug, nee Mooney, 54, of Baldwin, IL born Aug. 23, 1969, in Belleville, IL died Sunday, April 14, 2024, at her home.
Wendy was a service advisor for Glendale Chrysler and a member of St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory.
Wendy had a beautiful soul and an infectious smile that lit up any room she walked into. She enjoyed spreading her love through small acts of kindness. Her kindness and thoughtfulness set her apart from others. She never met a stranger and helped so many people, she always put everyone before herself. She loved her husband and family dearly; her nieces and nephews were her pride and joy. She worked as a service advisor for many years, she was one of the best in the area. She loved Loretta Lynn and would visit her home as often as she could. Her favorite song was “Coal Miner’s Daughter”. Wendy’s passion was to rescue animals and take extraordinary care of them on her small farm. She named them after famous country singers. Our family loved going to her farm and meeting new animals and hearing what she had named them. Wendy was one of a kind, her memories will be cherished by anyone and everyone who crossed her path.
She was preceded in death by her son, Chad Douglas Wisneski.
Surviving are her husband, Lance Krug; daughter, Chloe Foster; parents, Ben and Connie, nee Kehrer, Mooney; sisters, Laura (Steve) Buss, Sandy (Larry) Barnes; nieces, Megan and Lanie Buss, Sydney Barnes; nephews, Luke Kroenig, Blake, Christopher and Andrew Barnes; step children, Jordan and Megan Krug; step grandchildren, Ambriella and Paxton Krug.
