Rosalie S Oder

Rosalie S.”Rose”, Oder, nee Townsend, 79, of Mascoutah, IL, born October 21, 1938 in St. Louis, MO died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Freeburg Care Center.

She was a retired cook from Memorial Hospital and Holy Childhood School.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Otha and Ellen, nee Young, Townsend and two brothers, Richard and Clarence Townsend.

Surviving are her husband, Gerald D. Oder whom she married in Dupo, IL on December 16, 1955; her children, Jane (Angel) Aguilar of Houston, TX, Cindy (Adam) Hill of Belleville, IL, Mary (Monte) Pruett of Reno, NV, Jerry Oder of Lebanon, IL; six grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Patricia Bateman of Smithton, IL

VISITATION: Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

FUNERAL: A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL with Pastor Jack Spratte officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
