Richard L Sanders

Richard L. Sanders, 65, of Granite City, IL, born March 27, 1957, in Venice, IL died Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Richard retired as a welder for Progress Rail in Alorton, IL and was currently employed for James Green Enterprises as a maintenance technician.  He was member of Calvary Life Church in Granite City, IL.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde R. and Betty L., nee Kampmann, Sanders, three sisters, Betty Jean Mayer, Patty Vinable, Linda Fudge, one brother, John Sanders.

Surviving are his children, Shawn Sanders of Mascoutah, IL, Stephanie Victor of Belleville, IL, Tosha Eisele of Fairview Heights, IL; seven grandchildren, Olivia Sanders, Dalton and Madison Victor, Abby and Vera Atwood, Ian and Issac Eisele; two sisters, Karen (Mark) Arrigo, Joyce Sanders; two brothers, Joseph and Tommy Sanders; brother-in-law, Billy (Helen) Johnson; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022 at Calvary Life Church, 4650 Maryville Rd, Granite City, IL 62040 with Owen Brickell officiating.
