Richard A Clark

Richard A. “Rick” Clark, 69, of Belleville, IL, born July 28, 1953, in Belleville, IL died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022, at Memorial Hospital East, Shiloh, IL.

Rick was a retired registered nurse from Belleville Memorial Hospital. He was an avid banjo player, along with many of his friends, a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Belleville and a U. S. Navy Vietnam War veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ouita F., nee Bufford, Clark, daughter, Hope Clark and a sister-in-law, Vicki Robison.

Surviving are his wife, Deborah J., nee Lang, Clark whom he married in Belleville, IL on Oct. 16, 2004; daughter, Vivien Clark; two stepsons, Jason McCarron and fiancé, Crystal Branham, Kyle McCarron and partner, Lindsey Manshack; two brothers, Mike Clark, Mark (Linda) Clark; sister, Kaye, nee Clark, Baumann; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Benny (Gloria) Lang; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bruce Lang, Pam (Brent) Piel, Steven (Michelle) Lang, Brian Lang and Melissa; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral: A graveside service will be held 11 AM Friday, Sept. 23, 2022, at Mascoutah City Cemetery, 331 North County Rd., Mascoutah, IL with Pastor Lyle Buettner officiating.
