Ralph J. Buss

Ralph J. Buss, 81, of St. Libory, IL, born July 6, 1936 in St. Libory, IL died Friday, June 15, 2018 at his home.

Ralph was a retired truck driver for Beelman Truck Company for 30 years, a long time farmer, member of Saint Liborius Catholic Church, and a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1221 of Belleville/Swansea, IL since 1970.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Trula Patricia, nee Scanlan, Buss, whom he married in Saint Louis, MO on July 6, 1957; his parents, Vincent and Anna, nee Albers, Buss; sisters, Diane Buss and Adele Finder; brothers, Joseph, Vernon, and Dennis Buss; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, a niece, and nephews.

He is survived by his children, Victoria (Douglas) Knepper of St. Libory, IL, Deborah (Don) Hendricks of Saint Charles, MO, David Buss of St. Libory, IL, and Cristina Buss of Freeburg, IL; 13 grandchildren, Tracy (Michael) Schnur, Wendy, Mathew, Patrick (Kim), and Mary Knepper, Ryan, Mark (fiancé Annie James) Loy, Erin (Tim) Ribes, Ashley (Brian) Riley, Eddie (Danielle) Hendricks, and Lacy Counts (Hendricks) and friend, George Williams, Avery Buss, and Savanna Stevens; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Trentman; brothers, Charles (Debbie) Buss, Fred (Shirley) Buss, Melvin (Marie Triefenbach) Buss, and Larry Buss; sisters-in-law Carma Buss, and Sharon (Kenneth) Storck; brothers-in-law, Jack (Barb) Scanlan, and Edward Scanlan; and numerous nieces and nephews

VISITATION: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018 and from 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday June 20, 2018 at St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL.

FUNERAL: A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at St. Liborius Catholic Church with Father Paul Wienhoff officiating. Burial will be in St Liborius Catholic Cemetery.
