Ralph George Buescher, 77, of St. Libory, IL passed away Nov. 17, 2018 surrounded by family at Sycamore Village Memory Care, Swansea, IL.
Ralph, born May 26, 1941, was a lifetime resident of St. Libory, IL. He began his working career at Ozark Dairy in St. Louis, MO. He later delivered fuel for Juenger Oil and Hamann Service. He started his own HVAC and electrical company, Buescher Service, which he ran until his retirement in 2002. He worked for Beelman Truck Co. for a few years in his retirement. He was a man of diverse interests but enjoyed camping, boating and spending time with family the most. He proudly farmed his family farm until Parkinson’s prevented him from continuing. Ralph served as President of the St. Libory Fire Department for 26 years.
He was preceded in death by his buddy and grandson, Drew Lintker, his parents, George and Bertha, nee Beelman, Buescher, a sister, Armella Luecking, brothers-in-law, Ferdinand Luecking, Melvern Weber, and Gilbert Mense, sister-in-law, Virgina Buescher, and in-laws Robert and Myrtle Recker.
Left to mourn his passing are Sandra "Sandy", nee Recker, Buescher, his wife of 56 years; his four children, Michelle “Shelly” (Sam) Beelman of Sunset Hills, MO, Wayne (Judy) Buescher of St. Libory, IL, Keith (Lori) Buescher of St. Libory, IL, Todd (Krista) Buescher of Indianapolis, IN; nine loving grandchildren, Dane (Megan) Lintker, Elizabeth and Frank Beelman IV, Aaron and Nicholas Buescher, Mallory Buescher, Matthew (Morgan Valentine) Buescher, Kaylee and Austin Buescher; one great- grandson, Lennox Lintker; siblings, Harold (Beverly) Buescher of St.Charles, MO, Evelyn Weber of Millstadt, IL, Dolores (Tom) Bergkoetter, Rosalie Mense, Robert (Donna Hummert) Buescher all of St. Libory, IL; in-laws, Kathy (Jeff) Barker of Ava, IL, Claudia (Dan) Lawrence of Ava, IL, Paulette (Don) Jolley of Arizona, Becky (Pete) Just of South Carolina; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation : Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018 and from 8 to 10 AM Wednesday, Nov. 21 at St. Liborius Catholic Church, St. Libory, IL. A prayer service will be held at 4 PM Tuesday at the church.
Funeral: A funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018 at St. Liborius Catholic Church with Father Paul Wienhoff officiating. Interment immediately following at St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery.
