Paul R. Hoercher, Sr.

Paul R. Hoercher, Sr., 75, of Mascoutah, IL, born April 29, 1946 in Belleville, IL died Monday, May 17, 2021 at his home.

Paul was a retired laborer from the city of Mascoutah.  He was a member of the Mascoutah Laborer’s Local 742 and a past member of the VFW Post 7682 in Mascoutah.  Paul was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed being with friends, and loved to work on small engines.  Paul was a United States Navy Seabees veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl H. and Estelle A., nee Fochtmann, Hoercher, great grandson, Alexander Michael Satterlee,  sister, Charlotte (Charles) Ritcher, and a nephew, Brian Paul Zimmermann.

Surviving are his wife, Linda, nee Heller, whom he married on July 2, 2001; a stepson, Daniel Conklin of Mascoutah, IL; three children, Christine Hoercher of Okawville, IL, Paul R. (Patricia) Hoercher, Jr. of Mascoutah, IL, Holly Hoercher of Tennessee; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Donna (Paul) Zimmermann of Mascoutah, IL; two nephews, Mike (Linda) Ritcher, Jeff (Joyce) Ritcher; and a niece, Tammy (Shane) Smothers.
