Orville E. Rasp, 84, of Mascoutah, IL born November 8, 1932 in Belleville, IL, died Monday, October 23, 2017 at MarKa Nursing Home in Mascoutah, IL
He was a retired grain farmer; a member of St. Pancratius Catholic Church, Fayetteville, IL; former trustee of Mascoutah Rural Fire Protection District; member of St. Clair County Farm Bureau; and a United States Air Force Korean War veteran.
He is preceded in death by, his parents, Eugene J. and Edna M., nee Rist , Rasp Amann, a son, Matthew Rasp, a step-father, Walter Amann, and two brothers, Wilmer and James Rasp.
Surviving are his wife, Fern A., nee Kaemmerer, Rasp whom he married in Fayetteville, IL on November 22, 1961; a son, Kenneth J. Rasp and fiancé, Shari Ross of Mascoutah, IL; two daughters, Linda F. (Ronald) Krausz of Belleville, IL, Karen A. (Michael) Wobbe of Mascoutah, IL; eight grandchildren, Kelsey and Kristin Krausz, Zachary and Austin Rasp, Doran, Tanner, Tristan and Carter Wobbe; two sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Verna (Oris) Mueller and Shirley Rasp.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL. A prayer service will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral: A funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church with Father Paul Wienhoff, Msgr. James Blazine and Father Elmar Mauer OMI concelebrating. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery.
