Mary I. Nelson

Mary I. Nelson, nee Seago, 90, of Worden, IL, born May 6, 1927 in Alton, IL, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018 at the Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL.

Mary was a homemaker and a retired real estate agent.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy L. and Viola S., nee Swift, Nelson; her husband, Henry L. Nelson, who passed away on Oct. 4, 1995.

Mary is survived by one son, David (Janice) Nelson of South Roxana, IL; one daughter, Cynthia Goodwin of Holiday Shores, IL; one granddaughter, Cher (John) Linafelter of Trenton, IL; seven great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Samantha, Grace, John Jr., Jordan, Haley, and Sarah.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 9:45 AM Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at St. Martin of Tours Lutheran Church in Mascoutah with Pastor Margo Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens, Bethalto, IL.
