Mary Lou Biebel

Mary Lou Biebel, nee Winkeler, 83, of Mascoutah, IL born Aug. 4, 1941, in Breese, IL died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at Memorial Care Center in Belleville, IL. 

 Mary Lou was a homemaker and a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah. 

 She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Rose, nee Wilken, Winkeler, her husband, Oliver L. C. “Sonny” Biebel whom she married on Feb. 24, 1968, and who died on Mar. 31, 2009, a brother, George Winkeler.

 She is survived by eight children, Susan Biebel of Mascoutah, Sandi (Glenn) Greene of Collinsville, IL, Richard (Kim) Biebel of Mascoutah, Sharon (Andy “Lee”) Berry of Holden Beach, NC, Shirley Ohl of Mascoutah, Ralph (Jennifer) Biebel of Mascoutah, Sherri Biebel of Mascoutah, Robert (Melissa) Biebel of Belleville, IL; 11 grandchildren, Tyler and Andrew Berry, Kyle (fiancé Katie) and Jacob (fiancé Emma) Ohl, Matthew Wilson, Emily, Ethan, Adrianna, Hope, and Emma Biebel, Aidan Schneebeli; two great granddaughters, Elyana and Emersyn Ohl; sister-in-law, Harriett Winkler; also survived by two nieces and a nephew.

 Visitation: From 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024, at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL. 

 Funeral: A funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024, at Holy Childhood Catholic Church with Father Mark Stec celebrating. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
