Markus T. Moore

Markus T. Moore, 30, of Mascoutah, IL, born Nov. 7, 1987 in Montgomery, AL, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.

He was an employee at Target Belleville Crossing, Belleville, IL; he attended New Life in Christ Church, Lebanon, IL; and was a 2006 graduate of Mascoutah Community High School where he played football and participated in the MCHS Marching Band.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Marie (Walthall) Danley and LaVorgia “Lee” Danley of Mascoutah, IL; his father, Wyatt Moore of Montgomery, AL; two daughters, Kimora Whitley of O’Fallon, IL, and Jenasis Santos of Illinois; a sister, LaResha Moore of Montgomery, AL; maternal grandmother, Mary Walthall; maternal grandfather, Davis (Linda) Walthall; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the family and proceeds will be used for the education of Markus’s daughters.  Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting mollfuneralhome.com .

Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral: A funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 at the Moll Funeral Home with Elder Pamela Dorsey officiating.
