Mark D. Moran, 63, of Mascoutah, IL, born May 12, 1961, in Troy, MO, died Thursday Sept. 12, 2024, at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur, MO.
Mark retired as a highway maintenance supervisor for the Illinois Department of Transportation and was a United States Air Force veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Riders Post 365 in Collinsville, IL, the Moose Lodge 815 in Mascoutah, IL. Mark was an avid golfer and motorcyclist.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lowell E. “Gene” and Naomi F., nee Tucker, Moran, and a son, Jacob “Jake” Moran.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Healy; two children, Ammie (Michael) Hunt of New Baden, IL, Joe (Krista) Healy of Mascoutah, IL; four grandchildren, Devin Hunt, Mikayla Healy, Tiffanie Hunt, Logan Healy; two brothers, Michael (Lori) Moran, Mitchell (Melissa) Moran; brother-in-law, Michael (Marla) Wind; also survived by nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL: A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, Sept. 23, 2024, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with Pastor Matt Craft officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors.
