Marilyn J. Lamb

Marilyn J. Lamb, nee Zapp, 88, of Belleville, IL, formerly of Mascoutah, IL, born Nov. 5, 1936, in Belleville, IL died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, at the Four Fountains in Belleville, IL. 

Marilyn worked at the Mascoutah Elementary School and ran Mascoutah Little League for many years. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred P. and Beulah I., nee Mathews, Zapp, husband, Jack Lamb, who died on Sept. 11, 1985, son, Kevin Lamb, daughter, Cheryl New, and son-in-law, Kevin Ettling.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Terri (Charles) Shell; three grandchildren, Joshua (Britney) Ettling, Nicholas Ettling (Rachael Smith), and Richele (Tyler) Wilson; and six great-grandchildren, Skyler, Shiloh, Summer, Judah, Kevin, and Ruby.

FUNERAL: A private funeral service will be held at Moll Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mascoutah City Cemetery.
