Marianna Romine

   Marianna Romine, nee Davis, 78, of Mascoutah, IL, born June 26, 1946, in Breese, IL died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Breese, IL. 

   Marianna was a retired Physical Education Teacher for Belle Valley School District 119. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Mascoutah, Delta Kappa Gamma (retired teachers organization), the Red Hat Ladies in Mascoutah, Harmony Express, and the New Baden Maidens. 

   She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter T. and Lucille, nee Galley, Davis, brother, John L. Davis, and a niece, Kelly Prifti. 

   Marianna is survived by her daughter, Laura Romine Ringler of New Baden, IL; a granddaughter, Maren Ringler; two sisters, Anita (Jerome) Peters, Judy (Gary) Baehr; two nieces, Jacquelyn (Jack) Provenzale, Sheri Peters Gray; also survived by great nieces and great nephews.

   VISITATION: From 9 to 11 AM Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at Bethel United Methodist Church in Mascoutah.

    FUNERAL: A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, Feb. 10, 2025, at Bethel United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Queener officiating. Burial will follow in Green Mount Cemetery, New Baden, IL.
