Margaret C. Grimmer, nee Hoercher, 94, of Mascoutah, IL, born May 9, 1928, in Mascoutah, IL died Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Silver Creek Assisted Living, Mascoutah, IL.

Margaret was retired from St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville and a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church, Mascoutah, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Irene, nee Ortlepp, Hoercher, husband, Paul Grimmer whom she married in Fayetteville, IL on Sept. 11, 1945, and who died Feb. 13, 1988, daughter, Marcia Grimmer, son, Dennis Grimmer, sister, Irene Renth and brother, Henry Hoercher.

Surviving are her children, Kathie (Ronald) Mense of Waterloo, IL, Paul (Kathy) Grimmer of Geff, IL; daughter-in-law, Mary Grimmer of O’Fallon, IL; grandchildren, Ed (Crosby), Amy (Derek), Carrie, April (Kevin), Kristene (Matt T.), Melissa (Matt K.); seven great grandchildren; and brother, Marlin Hoercher.
