Kent A. Uhles

Kent A. Uhles, 67, of Okawville, IL, born May 22, 1954, in East St. Louis, IL died Monday, Apr. 4, 2022, at his home.

Kent was a retired auto body repair man for Kelso Auto Body in Belleville, IL.  He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, working on his train set, and watching baseball and football.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth R. and Ethel M., nee Bergmann, Uhles, sister-in-law, Phyllis Maberry.

Surviving are his wife, Jane M., nee Kehrer, Uhles whom he married on Sept. 1, 1983 in Nashville, IL; three children, Luke Uhles of Okawville, IL, Shannon (Brandon) Brammeier of Okawville, IL, Brandon (Katie) Maberry of Mt. Vernon, IL; three grandsons, Oliver and Jensen Maberry, Latch Brammeier; one brother, Ray (Joyce) Uhles; two sisters, Linda (Doug) Dawson, Carol Kelso; brother-in-law, Joseph (Dawn) Kehrer, sister-in-law, Anne Kehrer; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; special friends, Karen and “H” Giessing; also survived by his 3 dogs and a cat, Darla, Dakota, Dolly, and Scarlet.
