Joe Nell Hummert

Joe Nell Hummert, nee Lawrence, 85, of Mascoutah, IL born May 18, 1937, in Rector, AR died Monday, Dec. 19, 2022, at Mark-Ka Nursing Home, Mascoutah, IL.

Joe Nell was a retired Dietary Aide for Freeburg Care Center, a member of the former St. Pancratius Catholic Church, Fayetteville, IL, and the American Legion Auxiliary, St. Libory, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Dora, nee Gore, Lawrence, her husband, Leonard G. Hummert, one son, Timmothy Dean Hummert, and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her son, Lynn (Amber Simon) Hummert; also survived by nieces and nephews.
