Joann Guetterman

JoAnn Guetterman, 62, of Belleville, IL, passed away on October 4, 2019 at Hitz Nursing Home in Alhambra, IL.

JoAnn was born in Belleville, IL to Robert and Pearl Casey on December 20, 1956.  She married Melvin "Bucky" Kaemmerer, Sr.  She was homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, yard sales, and the aspects of hunting.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Pearl, nee Lynch, Casey, sisters, Jeanine Schmidt and Gerry Casey.

JoAnn is survived by Melvin Kaemmerer, Sr.; her children, Melvin (Ruth) Kaemmerer, Jr. of Mascoutah, IL, Sandra Smoothers of Salem, IL, Kim (Jay) Hill of Granite City, IL, Victoria Guetterman of New Baden, IL, and Nichole Guetterman of New Baden, IL; her siblings, Bob (Pam) Casey of New Athens, IL, Lonnie Casey (Amy) of Belleville, IL, Gary Casey (Lisa) of Mascoutah, IL, John (Lisa) Casey of Freeburg, IL, Bonnie Casey of New Baden, IL, Dotty Deien of Belleville, IL, Beverly (Wayne) Baum of Columbia, MO; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hitz Nursing Home in Alhambra, IL.

Memorials in memory of JoAnn may be made to Moll Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses and received at the Celebration of Life at the American Legion.

Funeral: A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019 at the American Legion in Mascoutah, IL.  Flowers may be delivered to the American Legion at 1414 West Main St., Mascoutah, IL.
