Jared Alan Martin, 33, of Nashville, IL born May 11, 1989 in Belleville, IL passed away August 15th, 2022 at the burn center of Mercy Hospital in Saint Louis, MO.
Jared was formerly of Lenzburg and graduated from Marissa Jr. /Sr. High School.
He lived his life to the fullest. He thrived by big game hunting out west, wakeboarding, wake-surfing on the Kaskaskia River, and go karting with his kids. Jared cherished his weekends camping and boating with his family. He loved to be outside fishing, dove hunting in his sunflower field, and shooting his bow. His wife and kids, Jill, John, and Vivian accompanied Jared through every adventure.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leonard “Real” and Joan Vasquez, and paternal grandfather, John Martin.
Jared is survived by his wife Jillian, nee Rouse, Martin whom he married on August 15, 2015; his children, five year old John Alan and three year old Vivian Rose Martin; his parents, Jeffrey and Tammy, nee Vasquez, Martin; paternal grandmother, Beverly Martin; his siblings, Jacob (Ashley) Martin, Cassie (Alex) Tubbs, and Joseph (Delaney) Martin; his nieces, Andrea Martin, Ellie Tubbs, Mia Tubbs, Brinley Martin; mother-in-law, Rachel Recker; sister-in-law, Haley Rouse; great aunt-in-law, Cynthia Mueller; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of all other gifts, memorials may be made to John and Vivian Martin Education Fund, c/o Citizens Community Bank, 620 N State St, Freeburg, IL 62243.
Visitation: From 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, August 18th, 2022 at Sportsman's Club, 770 Old Fayetteville Rd., Freeburg, IL 62243. Cremation is being handled by Moll Funeral Home, Mascoutah, IL. Jared’s ashes will be spread at a later date.
