Janice A Lohman

Janice A. Lohman, nee Koch, 82, of St. Libory, IL born April 9, 1941, in Belleville, IL died Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.
Janice retired as secretary from Johannisburg Grade School after 22 years of employment.  She was a member of St. Liborius Catholic Church, St. Liborius CCW, and the St. Libory American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin J. and Verna M., nee Wagner, Koch.

Surviving are her husband, Hugo J. Lohman, whom she married on Feb. 14, 1962 in St. Libory, IL; two sons, Brian (Jacqueline) Lohman, Sr. of Venedy, IL, Larry (Tina) Lohman of New Baden, IL; grandchildren, Brian “Drew” (Amy) Lohman, Jr., Kathryn Lohman (Lane Schilling); step grandchildren, Anthony Elliott, Tim Redvay (Melissa Klaus), Alyssa (Justin) Haney; great granddaughters, Aubrey Lohman, Kori Lohman; step great grandchildren, Jayden Woltering and Eilam Elliott; a sister, Sharon (Steve) Banjavcic of Belleville, IL; sisters-in-law, Dottie Lohman, Clara (Harold) Wolf; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

FUNERAL: A funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, at St. Liborius Catholic Church with Father Jim Thomas celebrating.  Burial will follow in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery, St. Libory, IL.
