James A. "Tony" Kappert

James A. “Tony” Kappert, 62, of Evansville, IN, born Jan. 12, 1961, in Henderson, KY died Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Brickyard Healthcare-Brentwood Care Center, Evansville, IN.

Tony enjoyed anything artistic including wood carving, drawing, and writing poems.  Tony was a United States Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bobbie J., nee Andrews, Kappert.

Tony is survived by his son, Dylan Storey of Evansville, IN; daughter, Kara (Anthony) Burrow of Mortons Gap, KY; five grandchildren, Rileigh, Noah, Hannah, Oliviah, and Judah Burrow; his best friend, Bobby Bowers; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins,

Funeral: A funeral service will be held 12 noon Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Moll Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Cannon officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
