Jackalee J Brown

Jackalee J. Brown, nee Liebenau, 89, of Mascoutah, IL, born Nov. 6, 1932 in Webster, KS, died Saturday, May 14, 2022 at her home.

Jackalee worked for several U. S. Navy Exchanges throughout the United States, during her husband’s naval career. She was a member of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Cheyenne, WY.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. and Mattie M., nee Campbell, Liebenau, her daughter, Renee Brown and a brother and sister.

Jackalee is survived by her husband, George Brown, Jr. of Mascoutah, IL whom she married in Greeley, CO on July 25, 1953; son, George Brown III of Mascoutah, IL; daughter, Robben (Jim) Daw of Mascoutah, IL; three grandchildren, Kimberly (R.J.) Potter, Jessica Eads, Jimmy Daw; five great grandchildren, Aidan, Alexis, Kaitlynn, Rileigh and Haley; and nieces and nephews.
