Gerald W. Boggs

Gerald W. Boggs, 85, of Venedy, IL, born April 12, 1933 in Rison, AR, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019 at MarKa Nursing home in Mascoutah, IL.

Gerald was Korea and Vietnam War veteran and a retired MSgt. for the USAF.

He is preceded in death by his wife Dixie Ann “Dee,” nee Taylor, Boggs, whom he married on April 18, 1958 in Pine Bluff, AR and who died on July 7, 2018; his parents, Jimmy Wilson and Mary Alma, nee Woodrome, Green; a stepfather, William Floyd Boggs, and a sister, Ella Jane Poye.

He is survived by his son, Alvis Boggs of Glendale, AZ.

FUNERAL: Per Gerald’s wishes he was cremated and there will be no services.
