Eileen Margaret Haas, nee Clements, 98 of Mascoutah, IL, born July 2, 1920 in Mascoutah, IL died Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 at Silver Creek Assisted Living, Mascoutah, IL.
Eileen graduated from SIU-Carbondale and began her teaching career in Staunton, IL and then taught in the Mascoutah School District where she retired from MCHS in 1978. She was a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah, Holy Childhood Mother’s Club, Delta Kappa Gamma Society for Educators, Tuesday Woman’s Club, Mascoutah Garden Club, American Legion Post 292, Mascoutah V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 7682 and a U. S. Navy Wave WW II veteran.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary, nee Shanahan, Clements, her husband, Fred C. Haas whom she married in Mascoutah, IL on June 23, 1945 and who died April 1, 1994, a brother, Ivan Clements and a sister, Willetta Stibal.
Surviving are her children, Joe (Karen) Haas of Mascoutah, IL, Gary (Katie) Haas of Shiloh, IL, Mary (Charlie) Webb of Mascoutah, IL; six grandchildren, Sean Haas, Jennifer (Chris) McIntosh, Ryan Haas, Tracy (Steve) Reed, C.J. (Neeley) Webb, Cathy (Carrie) Roberson; nine great grandchildren, Cameron and Cloe Haas, Peyton and Parker McIntosh, Grant Reed, Ella, Zoey and Coen Webb, Calvin Roberson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Monday, Dec. 10, 2018 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: There will be a funeral service 10 AM Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 at Moll Funeral Home with Fr. Paul Wienhoff officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Holy Childhood Cemetery.
