Doris J. Sandheinrich

Doris J. Sandheinrich, nee Hummert, 86, of St. Libory, IL, born June 30, 1932 in St. Libory, IL, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 at Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, IL.

Doris was a homemaker and member of St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Mary, nee Wesselmann, Hummert; her husband, Ralph H. Sandheinrich whom she married in St. Libory, IL on Oct. 20, 1954 and who died Oct. 21, 2012; three brothers and three sisters, Norbert, Leonard, and Raymond Hummert, Hilaria Lickenbrock, Irma Lohman, and Eleanor Demick.

She is survived by three daughters, Linda (Joe) Traiteur of Paderborn, IL, Elaine Sandheinrich of St. Libory, IL, and Carolyn (Barry) Wesselmann of St. Libory, IL; four grandchildren, Jamie (Brad) Lester, Justin (Karen) Traiteur, Derek (Michelle) Sandheinrich, and Alayna Wesselmann; four great-grandchildren, Lindsey Lester, Nolan, Shane and Aaron Traiteur; a sister, Jeanette Rakers of Mascoutah, IL; five sisters-in-law, Joe Nell Hummert of rural Mascoutah, IL, Edna Wienstroer, Ruth Sommer, and Dorothy Sandheinrich all of St. Libory, IL,  and Grace Smith of Cleveland, OH, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018 and from 9 to 10 AM Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 at the St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL.  A prayer service will be held at 4 PM Tuesday at the church.

Funeral: A funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 at St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory with Father Paul Wienhoff officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery, St. Libory, IL.
