Doris J. Gagen, nee Beuckman, 76, of St. Libory, IL, born April 30, 1945 in East St. Louis, IL died Monday, Sept. 13, 2021 at her home.
Doris was a retired support services specialist for the Department of Children and Family Services, a master homemaker, a foster parent to 30+ children and a lifetime member of St. Pancratius Catholic Church, Fayetteville, IL. Her favorite vacations were spent with family at Jekyll Island since 1971. Doris also enjoyed getting her passport stamped at National Parks. She enjoyed dancing at Halloween Nights at Grant’s Farm and sing-a-longs on Thanksgiving. Her favorite may have been a living room full of family and pillows on Christmas Eve.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Florian and Myrtle, nee Pfeiffer, Beuckman, Baby G in infancy, granddaughters, Isabelle and Scarlet and father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Helen Gagen.
Surviving are her husband, James H. “Rocky” Gagen; children, Kim, Lon Dircks, Jamie Beliveau, Matt Koerber, Jeff, JoAnne Gagen, Scott, Andrea Gagen, Sara, Chris Yankey, Kerri, Eric Sanders, Mark, Sarah Gagen, Thomas Gagen, Jon Gagen; grandchildren, Emily , Lillian, Jackson, Amelia, Joshua, Bryce, Jake, Camden, Kate, Jed, Alyssa, Jacob, Brianna, Ryleigh, Connor, Olivia, Sophia, Maya, Alex, Winston, Bly, Finnley, Lochlynn, Rory; great grandchild, Hudson; brother, Maurice, Sylvia Beuckman; brother-in-law, Mike Gagen; sister-in-law, Judith Wylie; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: From 4 to 7 PM Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 and from 9 to 10 AM Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL.
Funeral: A funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at St. Liborius Catholic Church with Father Jim Voelker and Father Paul Wienhoff concelebrating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
