Donald G. Hite, 85, of Mascoutah, IL born April 20, 1932, in Snowville, VA died Friday, December 15, 2017 at his home.
He was a retired CMSgt. from the U. S. Air Force after 21 years of service and also retired as a professor from State Community College in East St. Louis after 20 years of teaching. He was a U. S. Air Force Korean and Vietnam War veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Zella P., nee Hedge, Hite, a brother, Murle Hite and two sisters, India Hite and Bonnie Price.
He is survived by his wife, Edna R. Hite, nee Hancock, whom he married in Radford, VA on October 26, 1952; his children, Linda (Douglas) Sibert of Kingwood, TX, Donald (Joann) Hite of Friendswood, TX, Gail Hite of Mascoutah, IL, Paula (David) Miller of Belleville, IL, Bentley (Sheila) Hite of Belleville, IL Tony Hite and fiancé Samantha Dunn of Dublin, VA; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a brother, Darle (Mollie) Hite of Max Meadows, VA.

FUNERAL: 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Moll Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO with U. S. Air Force military honors.
