Dolores C Bergkoetter

Dolores C. Bergkoetter, nee Buescher, 84, of St. Libory, IL, born Sept. 25, 1936 in Fayetteville Twp., IL died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021 at Freeburg Care Center.

Dolores was a homemaker, loved to quilt and was an avid bowler. She was a member of St. Liborius Catholic Church, St. Libory, IL, St. Liborius CCW, American Legion Auxiliary, St. Libory IL and C.K.L. of I.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, A. George and Bertha, nee Beelman, Buescher, a sister, Armella (Ferd) Luecking, a brother, Ralph Buescher, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Anton (Anna) Bergkoetter, brothers-in-law, Melvern Weber and Gilbert Mense.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas J. Bergkoetter whom she married in St. Libory on Nov. 14, 1956; her children, Ron (Sandy) Bergkoetter of St. Libory, IL, Dave (Kelly) Bergkoetter of Addieville, IL, Sharon (Joe) Robertson of St. Libory, IL, Dean (Kirsten) Bergkoetter of Freeburg, IL; 10 grandchildren, Briana (Kyle) Swierczek, Abby and fiancé Zach Eckert, Emily Bergkoetter, Hilary (Nick) Dressler, Hanna (Logan) Kay, Hope Bergkoetter, Kelsey Robertson, Shelby and fiancé Matthew Reynolds, Allison and fiancé Shane Pass, Travis Bergkoetter; three great grandchildren, Eleanor and Oliver Swierczek, Wesley David Dressler; brothers and sisters, Harold (Beverly) Buescher, Evelyn Weber, Rosalie Mense, Robert Buescher and dear friend, Donna; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandy Buescher, Mary (Ken) Koeller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: From 9 to 11 AM Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021 at St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL. COVID-19 restrictions will be followed, face coverings required, and social distancing, with a limited number of visitors in the church at any time. Please be respectful of time so other visitors may pay their respects to the family.

Funeral: A funeral Mass will be held 11 AM Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021 at St. Liborius Catholic Church with Father Paul Wienhoff celebrating.  Burial will follow in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery.
