Dixie Ann "Dee" Boggs

Dixie Ann “Dee” Boggs, nee Taylor, 79, of Venedy, IL, born November 19, 1938 in Pine Bluff, AR, died Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL.

Dixie was a utility clerk at the City of Mascoutah retiring after 29 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lilburn and Freddie Mae, nee Cherry, Taylor; a brother, Doyle Edward Taylor; and a sister, Ethel Mae Schmieder.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald W. Boggs, whom she married on April 18, 1958 in Pine Bluff, AR; and one son, Alvis Boggs of Glendale, AZ.

FUNERAL: Per Dixie’s wishes she was cremated and there will be no services.
