Carl G. Kraske

Carl G. Kraske, 78, of Mascoutah, IL, born Sept. 10, 1939 in Belleville, IL, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018 at his home.

Carl was a retired electrician from Nooter Corporation in St. Louis. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, a member of Mascoutah Historical Society, past president of Mascoutah High School Band Boosters and a U. S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest G. and Dorothy F., nee Lembke, Kraske and a daughter, Karen Ann Kraske in infancy.

He survived by his wife, Judy A., nee Becherer, Kraske whom he married in Mascoutah, IL on Dec. 5, 1964; two sons, Keith (Karyn) Kraske of Hoffman Estates, IL, Kurt Kraske of Fort Worth TX; three grandchildren, Ryan, Alex and Kayla Kraske; a sister, Verna Odom of Libertyville, IL; three sisters-in-law, Carol (Daniel) Roth of Mascoutah, IL, Kathy and Dianna Becherer both of Fairview Heights, IL; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral: funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah with Pastor Hugh Fitz officiating.  Burial will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
