Barbara "Bobby" Klingel

Barbara A. “Bobby” Klingel, 87, of Mascoutah, IL, born May 23, 1934 in Salem, IL died Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Freeburg Care Center.
Barbara was the owner and operator of Modern Beauty Salon for over 30 years in Mascoutah and the first female school bus driver for the Mascoutah School District. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, Women of the Moose Chapter 392, Mascoutah, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Georgia, nee Pitts, Comstock.
Barbara was married 69 years to Warren Klingel, the love of her life. They were married on June 7, 1952 at Fairbanks, AK. Also, surviving to cherish memories, are her three children, Patricia (Scott) Cooper, Pamela Cribbs, Roger (Tammy) Klingel; six grandchildren, Douglas (Michelle) Riddle, Kristina Riddle, Brian (Ashley) Cribbs, Beth Ann (Jason) Leonard, Michelle Klingel and Jessica (Rick) Fagan; six great grandchildren, Caleb and Ethan Riddle, Callie and Cora Leonard, Owen and Abbigail Fagan; sister, Carol (Dale) Breckel; brother, Darrell (Shirley) Comstock; and many nieces and nephews. Her family was her pride and joy. Bobby will be missed by family and friends.

Visitation: From 4 to 7 PM Friday, July 2, 2021 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: A funeral service will be held 10 AM Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Moll Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating. Burial will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
