Barbara Ellen Anstedt

   Barbara Ellen Anstedt, nee Gray, 90, of Mascoutah, IL, born March 19, 1934, in Vienna, IL died Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, at Silver Creek Assisted Living, Mascoutah, IL.

   Barb was a homemaker and worked at Dauber Pharmacy in Mascoutah for 17 years. She is a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church, Mascoutah, HCCCW, member of the former Holy Childhood Mother’s Club and former member of Zonta Club of Belleville.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Juanita, nee Russell, Gray, her husband, Robert J. Anstedt who died Dec. 31, 1982, and a son, Bruce in infancy.

   Barb is survived by her sons, Bernard, Michael, David and Robert “Rob” Anstedt; her daughter, Debra (Jerry) Potthast; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

   FUNERAL: A funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah with Father Paul Wienhoff celebrating. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
