Anna Lee Friederich

Anna Lee Friederich, nee Meyer, 81, of Darmstadt, IL born Oct. 9, 1938 in Lebanon, IL died Friday, Nov. 22, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.

Anna Lee was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Pearl, nee Thompson, Meyer, her husband, Werner H. “Bud” Friederich, whom she married in Mascoutah, IL on Dec. 26, 1955 and who died on Nov. 22, 2011, and a grandson, Jason Gann.

She is survived by six children, Linda (Merlin) Steele of Marissa, IL, Steve (Janice) Friederich of Lively Grove, IL, Cindy (Robert) McCauley of Marissa, IL, Pam (Alan) Buss of Lively Grove, IL, Mike Friederich (fiancé Vikki Barackman) of Aviston, IL, and Barb (Todd) Schaffner of Dayton, TX; 15 grandchildren, Chris (Dana), Trista (fiancé Jacob), Tiffany, Danny (Katie), Tim (Tosha), Joey (Ashley), Stephanie, Ryan (Stephanie), Kayla (special friend Robert Shields), Amber (Bobby), Megan, Zach, Jake, Cassie (special friend Chuck), and Devin (special friend Marissa ); 13 great-grandchildren, Lillian, Lucas, and Rhett Gann, Holly Riddle (Mother of Rhett), and Kenzie Emke, Lydia Baumgartner, Kolten, Landon, Annalee, and Emma Friederich, Ella McCauley, Huntleigh Shields, Raelyn and Brinley Statler; one sister, Kay Frueke of Mascoutah, IL; also survived by  numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Visitation: From 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral: Cremation will be held and there will be no other services.
