Adele M Ohl, nee Carle, 94 of Mascoutah, IL, born April 2, 1930, in Columbia, IL, died Friday, September 27, 2024, at MarKa Nursing Home, Mascoutah, IL.
Adele retired as the owner and operator of Carle Florist and Greenhouse in Mascoutah, IL and later retired as an administrative assistant for Bank of America. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, St. Paul United Church of Christ in Lebanon, and Hope Church in Belleville. Adele enjoyed music and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Philip L. and Elsie M., nee Sutton, Carle, son, Richard Ohl, grandson, Jeremy Mueller, sister, Edith Carle, and son-in-law, Gerald Berkemann.
Adele is survived by her five daughters, Donna Berkemann, Karen (Larry) Mueller, Mary Sanders, Marsha (John) Schmittling, Carol (Dale) Helle; 15 grandchildren, Christine (Kevin) Van Ness, Kevin Berkemann, Kim (Steve) Powers, Scott Berkemann, David, Karl, and Natalie Ohl, Jessica Grant, Sturgis, Cameron, and Clayton Redden, Molly (John) Ramsey, Jake (Kelsey) Schmittling, Grace Sanders, Garrett Helle; 16 great grandchildren; also survived by numerous great great grandchildren.

FUNERAL: A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Friday, Oct. 4, 2024, at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Lebanon, IL with Pastor Josiah Accola officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Evangelical Cemetery in Columbia, IL.
