Dolores A Deeke

Dolores A. Deeke, nee Bechtoldt, 95, of Mascoutah, IL, born Oct. 8, 1921 in Belleville, IL died Monday, Sept. 4, 2017 at St. Paul’s Senior Community in Belleville, IL.

Dolores was a retired payroll clerk from Martha Manning Dress Factory; member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah; member of Holy Childhood Council of Catholic Women; Holy Childhood School Mother’s Club; and delivered Meals on Wheels.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph E. and Agnes M., nee Cordie, Bechtoldt, her husband, Raleigh C. Deeke whom she married in Mascoutah at Holy Childhood Catholic Church on May 8, 1954 and who died on Sept. 1, 1974, two sisters, Loretta Haas, Margaret Schlichter and a brother, Joseph H. Bechtoldt.

She is survived by her sons, Father Von C. Deeke of Belleville, IL, Thomas (Patti) Deeke of St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren, Miriam, Caleb, Joshua and Hannah Deeke; two sisters, Helen Bechtoldt and Mildred Hulliung both of Mascoutah, IL; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation: visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL and Friday, Sept. 8 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:40 a.m. at the funeral home. There will be a prayer service at 4 p.m. Thursday Sept. 7 at the funeral home.

Funeral: a funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 at the Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah with Father Von C. Deeke officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
