Curtis C. Condon

Curtis C. Condon, 84, of Mascoutah, IL, born Aug. 19, 1932 in Mascoutah, IL, died Friday, June 30, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

He retired as a head produce clerk after 37 years from Kroger; he was a member of the Mascoutah Moose Lodge 815; Belleville-Swansea Moose Lodge 1221; USS Wisconsin Assn.; the VFW Post 7682 of Mascoutah; and a Korean War US Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curt J. and Myrtle, nee Schopp, Condon; a brother-in-law, Julius Graul; and a sister-in-law, Boots Condon.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, nee Graul, Condon who he married in Mascoutah, IL on June 12, 1954; four daughters, Beverly (Mark) Augustine of Mascoutah, IL, Deborah (Denver) Eytchison of Auburn, IL, Diana “Dee Dee” (Steven) Haas of O’Fallon, MO, and Cheryl (Timothy) Barrett of Port St. Lucie, FL; seven grandchildren, Jessica (Josh) Fritz, Lisa Augustine, Laura Eytchison, Tony (Sarah) Eytchison, Tyffany (Justice) Stevens, Jackie (Andrew) Otto, and Krystin Haas; nine great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jake, Jordyn, Addie, Evie, Brayden, Henry, Grayson, and Hunter; a brother, Richard Condon of Mascoutah, IL, and a sister-in-law, Norma (Emmett) Carroll of Keyesport, IL; nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.  A Moose Pilgrim Ritual will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

Funeral: A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Moll Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating.  Burial will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
