Dorothy E. Beimfohr

Dorothy E. Beimfohr, nee Presson, 86, of Mascoutah, IL, born February 6, 1931 in St. Louis County, MO, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Terrace on the Park, Mascoutah, IL.

She was a retired secretary from Triple B Trailer Manufacturing in Mascoutah; member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah; past President and member of the V.F.W Auxiliary # 7682 in Mascoutah, and a volunteer at the Mascoutah Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion “Jack” and Celestine, nee Meyer, Presson; her husband of 55 years, Albert “Freddie” Beimfohr, whom she married on January 5, 1952 in St. Louis, MO, and who died May 27, 2007.

She is survived by two sons, David (Pat) Beimfohr of Edwardsville, IL, Steven (Janis) Beimfohr of Mascoutah, IL; five grandchildren, Erik Beimfohr, Kristen (Todd) Schuhardt, Shannon Beimfohr, Taylor Beimfohr, and Kelsey (Eric) Shumake; brother-in law, Clyde Beimfohr of Belleville, IL, a sister-in law, Darlene (Calvin) Kiefer of St. Louis, MO; nieces, nephews, and cousins
