Patricia Maxine Wescoat

Patricia Maxine Wescoat, nee Spring, 88, of Mascoutah, IL born April. 27,1929 in Neelys Landing, MO, died Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Terrace on the Park, Mascoutah, IL.

She was a retired, longtime secretary for Grant Illini School District #110 in Fairview Heights, IL and a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah. Maxine was a wonderful and much loved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucia I. Spring and a grandson, Dan Wescoat.

Surviving are her husband, James C. Wescoat, Sr. whom she married in Nashville, TN on Sept. 28, 1949, her children, James C. (Randi) Wescoat, Jr., Charles S. (Sharon) Wescoat, both of Port Orange, FL, Mary Wescoat of Mascoutah, IL, Tricia (Terry) McBride of Troy, IL; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Patrick) Wombacher, Justin (Kristina) McBride, Heather (Nick) Dabler, Andy (Lindsey) Wescoat, Lauren Wescoat, Kim (Justin) Lauf and Kate (Everett) Kelly; 12 great-grandchildren; also survived by a brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 PM Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at St. John United Church of Christ with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating.  Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
