Harvey S. Zinck, 87, of rural Addieville, IL, born August 7, 1929 in Mascoutah Township, IL, died Thursday, March 23, 2017 at MarKa Nursing Home, Mascoutah, IL.
Harvey was a retired farmer. He was a member and former trustee of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Lively Grove and a member of Washington County Farm Bureau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Theckla, nee Butz, Zinck, his wife, Rose Marie, nee Matthes, Zinck whom he married in St. Louis, MO on July 25, 1959, a daughter, Debra Zinck, a son, Stephen Zinck, sister, Dorothy (Joe) Lanter, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Margaret Streckfuss, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Surviving are three children, Cynthia (Steven) Hundelt of Darmstadt, IL, Andrew Zinck of Mascoutah, IL, and Cheri (Edmund) Kurtz of Stone Church, IL; six grandchildren, Christina (John) Segelhorst, and Bradley (Ashley) Hundelt of Venedy, IL, Ryan (Laura) Zinck of Mascoutah, IL, Derek (Brittany) Zinck of Swansea, IL, Clara (Eric) Dressler of St. Libory, IL, and Cole Kurtz of Stone Church, IL; six great-grandchildren, Emmett and Scarlett Segelhorst, Henry Hundelt, Greyson and Rowan Zinck, and Joseph Dressler; two brothers, Ralph Zinck of Belleville, IL, and Norbert (Dona) Zinck of Addieville, IL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William Matthes, Don Wieland, Joseph (Carol) Streckfuss, Robert (Jan) Streckfuss, Terry (Claudia) Streckfuss, Susan Streckfuss; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: visitation will be from 3 to 7 PM Sunday, March 26, 2017 and 9 to 10:30 AM Monday, March 27, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Lively Grove, IL. A prayer service will be held 2:30 PM Sunday afternoon at the church.
Funeral: a funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM Monday, March 27, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Lively Grove with Father Dennis Voss officiating. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery, Lively Grove, IL.
