Martha Marie Teisseire

Martha Marie Wightman Teisseire, nee Witte, 100, of Mascoutah, IL, formerly of Red Bluff, CA born April 26, 1916 in Thurston, NE died Saturday, March 4, 2017 at MarKa Nursing Home, Mascoutah, IL.

She was a retired bookkeeper from Singer Sewing Machine Company and a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ludwig and Mary, nee Pallas, Witte, two husbands, John S. Wightman and Ed Teisseire, a sister, Ruth Etzler and a brother, Frank Witte.

Surviving are her daughter, Gaylene (Lewis) Hiatt of Belleville, IL; two graddaughters, Holly (Philip) Kikel of Belleville, IL, Krista (Lt. Col. Ret. Victor) Kleiser of New Baden, IL; great-grandchildren, Ian Kikel, Andrew (Renee) Kleiser and Matthew Kleiser.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held 4:30 PM Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating.  Burial of cremains will be in Tehama County Cemetery, Tehama, CA.
