Lorine F. Schuette, nee Leadendecker, 94, of St. Libory, IL, born Feb. 23, 1922 in Oakdale, IL, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 at Memorial Care Center in Belleville, IL.
She was a homemaker; member of St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL where she was a Eucharistic Minister for years; member of the St. Liborius Council of Catholic Women; St. Libory American Legion Auxiliary; and was an avid quilter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Augusta, nee Dintelmann, Leadendecker; her husband, Raymond Schuette whom she married in St. Libory, IL on April 18, 1945 and who died Nov. 29, 2001; a son-in-law, Gary Neighbors; a grandchild, Andrew Mehring; a brother, John Leadendecker; four sisters, Annabell Ledendecker, Clara Luechtefeldt, Mildred Loehr, and Erma Sommers.
She is survived by twelve children, Pat Neighbors of St. Libory, IL, David (Pat) Schuette of St. Libory, IL, Joe Schuette of Belleville, IL, John (Tami) Schuette of Stone Church, IL, Dan (Dolores) Schuette of Venedy, IL, Mary (Doug) Mehring of Red Bud, IL, Cindy (Larry) Kuhlengel of Okawville, IL, Barb (Gerald) Ratz of Red Bud, IL, Paul (Lee Ann) Schuette of Mt. Vernon, IL, Tom (Jennifer) Schuette of Okawville, IL, Lea Ann (Jim) Becker of Red Bud, IL, and Sylvia (Mike) Wulf of Nashville, IL; 44 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Frances Buescher of Belleville, IL, and Genevieve Aholt of Okawville, IL; brother-in-law, Ray Sommers of Mascoutah, IL; two sisters-in-law, Sue Schuette of Smithton, IL, and Lucille Leadendecker of Okawville, IL; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 and from 9 to 10 AM Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 at St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL.
Funeral: A funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 at St. Liborius Catholic Church with Father Paul Wienhoff officiating. Burial will be in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery, St. Libory, IL.St. Liborius Catholic Church
