Dennis J. Zotz, 60, of Lebanon, IL, born July 23, 1956 in Highland, IL, died Sunday Feb. 12, 2017 at his residence.
He was a laborer for Illinois American Water Co.; member of St. Matthew UMC in Belleville, IL; Laborers Local #100, E. St. Louis, IL; Allied Molders Union; and a U. S. Marine Vietnam War veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. and Esther F., nee Schumacher, Zotz, a daughter, Samantha (Pinky) Zotz; and two brothers, Carl and Leo Zotz.
Surviving are his wife Sandy, nee Harris, Zotz, whom he married in Mascoutah, IL on Aug. 8, 1987; four children, David (Lacey) Zotz of Shiloh, IL, Daniel (Gina) Zotz of New Bern, NC, Katerine Zotz and Wendy Zotz, both of Lebanon, IL; two brothers, Vernon Zotz of Lebanon, IL, and Dean (Carol) Zotz of New Baden, IL, a sister-in-law, Janice Zotz of New Baden, IL; father and mother-in-law, Gene and Donna Harris of Belleville, IL; brothers-in-law, Marcus Harris of Belleville, IL, Don Harris of Lebanon, IL, and Kevin Harris of Mascoutah, IL; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.

Visitation: visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL; and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at St. Matthew UMC in Belleville, IL.
Funeral: funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at St. Matthew United Methodist Church with Pastor James Slone officiating. Burial will follow in the Summerfield Cemetery, Summerfield, IL.
