Larry F. Lewis, Sr., 77, of Mascoutah, IL, born Nov. 20, 1939 in Manila, AR died Saturday Dec. 31, 2016 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.
He was a retired Chief Master Sergeant from the U. S. Air Force and a Viet Nam war veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Rudolph and Louise L., nee Farrow, Lewis and a sister, Polly.
Surviving is his wife Amparo G., nee Gonzalez, Lewis whom he married at Rock of Gibraltar, Morocco on Oct. 29, 1965; his children, Celia A. Lewis of Mascoutah, IL, Larry F. Lewis, Jr. of Austin, TX, Scott A. Lewis of Mascoutah, IL; four grandchildren, Makenzie Norris, Grant Norris, Makayla Gunter and Avery Lewis; a brother, Dan (Belle) Lewis of Manila, AR; a sister-in-law, Celia Gonzalez Casas of Madrid, Spain; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Thursday Jan. 5, 2017 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: A funeral service will be held 9:30 AM Friday Jan. 6, 2017 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL with Pastor Margo Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at 11 AM with full military honors in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
