Carl E Zotz

Carl E. Zotz, 75, of New Baden, IL, born May 17, 1941 in Lebanon, IL died Thursday Nov. 24, 2016 at his residence.

He was retired from Century Brass in Swansea, IL and a U. S. Army veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles R. and Esther F., nee Schumacher, Zotz, an infant son, Craig Steven Zotz, a brother, Leo Zotz, sister-in-law, Stella Telford and a brother-in-law, Clarence Martin.

Surviving are his wife Janice I., nee Martin, Zotz whom he married in Mascoutah, IL on Dec. 28, 1965; a son, Michael (Tedi) Zotz of New Baden, IL; daughters, Jana Zotz of Fairview Heights, IL, Kimberly Roberson of Lebanon, IL; five grandchildren, Brody and Carly Zotz, Cody, Tyler and Justin Roberson; brothers, Vernon Zotz of Lebanon, IL, Dean (Carol) Zotz of New Baden, IL, Dennis (Sandy) Zotz of Lebanon, IL; sisters-in-law, Doris Andres of New Athens, IL, Linda (Richard) Sanders of Freeburg, IL and Cindy (Paul) Schanz of Mascoutah, IL.

Visitation: visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Monday Nov. 28, 2016 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral: funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday Nov. 29, 2016 at Moll Funeral Home with Rev. Gretchen Sterrett officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
