Robert H. Wilson

Robert H. Wilson, 86, of Mascoutah, IL, born Nov. 5, 1929 in Bemidji, MN died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 at his residence.

Bob was a retired CMSgt. from the U. S. Air Force after 30 years of service and also retired from American Satellite. He was a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah and a U. S. Air Force Viet Nam War veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Joseph and Alice M., nee Hammond, Wilson, his wife, Rosemary P., nee Jung, Wilson whom he married in Cheyenne, WY on Sept. 19, 1949 and who died April 22, 1996, a granddaughter, Michelle Wilson and three sisters, June, Bonnie and Peggy.

He is survived by his special friend, Ottlie Linck; his children, Michael (Laura) Wilson of St. Charles, MO, Patricia (Dale) Hund of Belleville, IL, Brent Wilson of Mascoutah, IL, Denise (Paul) Fredericksen of Houston, TX; 10 grandchildren, Samantha (Zach) Conlin, Alexandra Wilson, Luke Wilson, Lauren (Sean) Shaffer, Roy (Amanda) Gall, Ryan Gall, Amanda Hund, Kara (Rich) Hahnenkamp, Travis and Cody Fredericksen; three great grandchildren, Landon and Trevyn Shaffer, Makayla English and two on the way; and a brother, Chuck Wilson of Reno, NV.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Thursday Oct. 27, 2016 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.  A prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral: A memorial mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2016 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah with Father Jerry Hechenberger officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
