Donald J. Biekert, 60, of Casselberry, FL, born March 2, 1956 in Mascoutah, IL died Wednesday September 21, 2016 at Quality Healthcare Center in Casselberry, FL.
Don worked for Peabody Coal Company, River King Mine UG #1 and also worked in aviation maintenance. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Church in Casselberry FL. Don was a St. Louis Cardinal fan, loved going to air shows, fishing, and an avid gun enthusiast. His passion was socializing with friends and loving people as well as his dog’s Mojo and Si.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ann, nee Moll, Biekert, a granddaughter, Evangeline Davis, a sister, Jane Ellen Biekert in infancy and a sister-in-law, Debra Biekert.
He is survived by his wife, Belinda Luanne, nee Wynn, Biekert of Casselberry, FL; four sons, Derrek, Devin, Dylan, and Dalton Biekert all of Centralia, IL; two daughters, Leanne Dietrich of Belleville, IL, Belinda Ann Moore of New Smyrna, FL; two granddaughters, Tabitha Patton Moore of DeBary, FL, Lexi Biekert of Centralia, IL; three brothers, David Biekert of Mascoutah, IL, John (Lisa) Biekert of Mascoutah. IL, Danny (Angela) Biekert of Huntsville, AL; two sisters, Jean (Don) Marshall of Freeburg, IL, Julie Biekert of Mascoutah, IL; also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 12 noon Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon Saturday, October 29 at Moll Funeral Home with Father Paul Wienhoff officiating.
