Eileen Mae Beimfohr

Eileen Mae Beimfohr, nee Snyder, 85, of Mascoutah, IL, born Aug. 27, 1931 in Belleville, IL died Friday Oct. 7, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.

She was a homemaker, a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Mascoutah, V.F.W. Auxiliary, Mascoutah, past matron of Eastern Star and Red Hat Ladies Society.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Klopmeyer and Geneva Ann, nee Rad, Snyder and a son, Clyde E. Beimfohr, Jr.

Surviving are her husband, Clyde E. Beimfohr whom she married in Mascoutah, IL on Feb. 20, 1954; her daughters, Pamela (Kevin) Johnson of Lebanon, IL, Susan (Jeffrey) Kilian of Belleville, IL, Denise (Barry) Wood of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Nicholas Johnson, Lauren (Steve) Braun, Scott Kilian, Jacqueline Kilian, Tarah Wood, Zachary Wood; a great granddaughter, Savannah Braun; two sisters-in-law, Darlene Kiefer, Dorothy Beimfohr; and nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation: visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Mon. Oct. 10, 2016 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL and from 9 to 10 AM Tues. Oct. 11, 2016 at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral: funeral services will be held 10 AM Tues. Oct. 11, 2016 at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah with the Rev. Earl Crecelius officiating.  Burial will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
