Dennis Wayne White

Dennis Wayne White, 64, of New Memphis, IL, born Nov. 25, 1951 in Milan, TN, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at his residence.

Dennis is a retired electrician from  Clayshire Electric in St. Louis, MO; member of the First Baptist Church, Mascoutah, IL; and the I.B.E.W. Local #1 St. Louis, MO.  Dennis wrote music and was a member of several bands in the area and in Tennessee; he enjoyed watching Cardinal Baseball and spending time with his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Earline, nee Bray, White.

He is survived by his wife, Genie F., nee Showalter, White whom he married in O’Fallon, IL on May 31, 1980; three children, Joshua (Kathi) White of Belleville, IL, April (Richard) Sturgill of Mascoutah, IL, and Melody White of Fairview Heights, IL; five grandchildren, Andrew, Josh, Emily, Noah, and Christopher; his father and stepmother, Robert W. and Nettie Jo White of Trezevant, TN; a sister, Vicki (Bill) Bohnenstiehl of Lebanon, IL, brother, Gary White of Huntingdon, TN; and numerous other family members and friends..
